Upcoming Saint Joe Boys Tennis Events

Hunter Horan

The Saint Joe boys tennis team came out strong and shows no sign of slowing down. The varsity is currently undefeated in the regular season with exceptional wins over rivals such as Penn, which marked Coach Bender’s 200th varsity win. The team also recently won the city tournament making the varsity NIC champs three years in a row, the longest streak in Saint Joe Tennis history. All three singles matches won their flights, with junior Daniel Pries, Kyle Fernandez, and freshmen Colin Blumentritt going undefeated all day long. First doubles players Sean “Gibby” Gibson and Davis Borders got a close second place as well. Out of the 80 plus matches played at Leeper, the Indians had the most.

A lot of big games are up and coming, including teams such as Culver Academy, Laporte, and Sturgis. Senior night is on the 28th. Make sure you come out and see what the boys are cookin’ up.
