All of the songs were recorded on a phone using the app BandLab. Though his releases generate quite the throwback musically, his inspired lyrics are very much applicable to today’s teenage experience, and he is a great artist to add to your playlists.
An artist with a similar start as D4vd is singer Sadie Jean. Because she grew in popularity on TikTok you may not know her as her name but rather the song that her and RodWave recently made together that is on rodWave’s most recent album “Nostalgia”. Jean as 8 singles out including her collab with RodWave. Her music is a beautiful blend of her soft vocals and an intense background bass, and her songs are perfect to have on in the background while studying.
The final artist to be highlighted is Jordan Ward. If you haven’t had the pleasure of hearing Jordan Ward’s music, it looks like today has to be the day. You will never forget your first listen to his music. Not only is his voice amazing, he’s got the lyrics to go with. At 18, he moved to Los Angeles, and in his early 20s, he began touring as a backup dancer for artists like Justin Bieber and Becky G. Since then he’s been working on his music journey, he has seventeen songs out currently. His flow and lyrics go great together and definitely something you can listen to on a day to day basis.
